Urunga
Bowling
Club
was
built
in
1952,
with
the first
trial
bowls
games
held
by the mens club in 1953.
The ladies
club opened soon after in 1954, and
from this time on the bowling club
has grown in popularity and size, with
the purchase of land for a second bowling
green taking place in 1969.
Today Urunga Bowling Club is an integral
part of the local community proudly
providing entertainment and activities on
every day of the week for members
and guests to take part in. Check

weeks events. The club premises features
two championship bowling greens,
two bars, as well as dining and function
facilities. In
addition to this Urunga Bowling Club
proudly supports the following local
charities and community groups: Urunga
Surf
Club,
Local Fire
Brigade,
Camp
Quality,
Prostate
Cancer
Foundation,
Urunga Primary School, The Asthma Foundation,
Bellorana Nursing Home, Urunga Preschool
and
many more.

Urunga Bowling Club has 2
carparks available
for members and guests.
The carparks are situated on either
side of the
club on Orara and Newry Streets.
Parking is free of charge to all club
